My oldest child enthusiastically declares, “Six is the best ever for me!” while we’re in the bathroom styling a very specifically requested hair-do.

“You think so?” I ask.

She explains, “Well…2 was okay…umm 5 was okay… but… hum…” she pauses to really think about it then adds, “Yes! Six Is the best year I’ve ever lived so far Mom!”
