Life Happens. Sometimes you just have to write about it.

#TBT – April 2013

Two little Chennamchetty kids play in the kitchen.

“Come here!” sister points insistently toward the blue kitchen wall. “Sit, siiit, sssssiiiiiiiiittttt.” She pauses dramatically. “You need to sit here and think about being a good listener,” she guides her brother, a hand on his shoulder, gently pushing him into their time out spot.

“Okay,” he agrees with a shrug. He must have done something wrong.

“I set timer. You just sit,” one leg pops out in a dramatic stance.

“Okay,” he sits, criss cross applesauce against the wall.

She looks at her little brother with a sympathetic smile.

He smiles back and says “hahahahahahahah … AHHHH … hahahaha … MY TURN!!”

“Okay!” she squeals.
